The flagship mare of Jump Start Farm, Jete, is a lovely Holsteiner mare who carries noble blood of Schleswig, Holstein. She is by the Calypso II son, Columbus who is the sire of top dressage and jumper champions including two approved stallions. Caylpso II - an international show jumper under M. Ruping - has sired more than 40 approved stallions and is especially coveted as a top stallion-producing broodmare sire. Jete's dam, the 1988 National Champion Holsteiner filly, is sired by Condino, also Champion of his stallion inspection in Holstein. Both Condino and Calypso II share the same sire, Cor de la Bryere. Cor de la Bryere is famous for revolutionizing the Holsteiner breed as we know it today and was said to exhibit the best jumping bascule and technique ever seen in the equine world.

This imported Dutch Keur Sport mare is out of a Keur Preferent Sport (jumping) Prest. mare by the world famous Preferant sire Lucky Boy xx. Lucky Boy sired many international GP horses such as: Columbus (Jos Lansink), The Victor, Van Gogh; approved WPN stallions Candy Boy, Naturel, Derrick, Dutch Boy, Best Of Luck (USA), and Calypso (world cup winner). Jarina's sire, Damiro ( Ramiro Z / Alme), was a GP jumper in his own right and the respected sire of world cup jumpers such as Jamiro (J. Smit), Madison (Kent Farrington), and the breeding stallion, Audi's Mr Itt. Damiro is also the dam's sire of the current GP jumping senstaion stallion, Presley Boy ridden by Jaime Azcarraga.
